The goal of the Mahamrityunjaya chanting ritual is to end pain that is similar to death. This ceremony is also well-known to the majority of people. The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra typically promotes health, liberates people from debilitating illnesses, and protects against the fear of dying too soon.
To achieve utter purity during this ceremony, individuals whose horoscopes contain Marrakesh or blocking planets must recite the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.
